Description of Project:
The Dead Horses Project was created to stimulate awareness of human learning dysfunction and to inspire and motivate people to take positive, tangible action to generate workable alternatives to the things that don't work. The project includes a web site www.deadhorses.org and a Foundation that will oversee the Annual Dead Horse Awards in conjunction with the Annual Noble Steeds Social Engagement Awards. The Dead Horse Awards recognize and award the most creative, impactful and inspiring Dead Horse postings on the web site. The Noble Steeds Social Engagement Awards recognize and reward Dead Horse Projects that have made the most tangible positive impact in addressing Dead Horses identified by users of the site. Objectives of Project:
- Identify and describe accurately and creatively the many forms of human dysfunction that plague our planet
- Recognize and reward those who advance our understanding and awareness of specific areas of dysfunction via the Annual Dead Horses Awards
- Create a platform for passionate individuals who want to make a difference to take tangible positive action using the Dead Horses site as a launching pad for awareness
- Recognize and reward those projects that have the most tangible positive impact on our planet, its individuals and communities, via the Annual Noble Steeds Social Engagement Awards
Major Activities or Planned Activities:
Operation of the www.deadhorses.org website Implementation of the Annual Dead Horses Awards Implementation of the Annual Noble Steeds Social Engagement Awards Publication of books and articles that highlight dysfunction and provide pathways to alternative possibilities for the planet

Becuase this is a project to encourage others to generate projects, it does not address a specific Dead Horse at this time, unless it would be "Human Apathy"
